Ian Desmond = disaster
Jordan Zimmerman = perfect target replacement RH rising stud
Zim and something else such as C Derek Norris from Goddard Ks even,
or SS Danny Espinosa (since they have Desmond he should be available and HE”S BETTER)

Man I hope Greinke doesnt get traded and we just compete and extend him. Easier said then done but anyone who thinks we will get a Texiera haul is dreaming. Sure, Greinke will be extremely valuable in a trade market but we won’t get equal value. We never do. GMDM and Baird before him is like the one owner if your fantasy league that every year you know you can fleese cuz he just doesnt know the league good enough and isnt paying attn week to week. Beltran Part II. Different regime that made that trade but same results. Just gotta have Yuni, Jacobs, Crisp, etc. Hold on to our best asset please.

I would much rather not have Ian Desmond, his numbers are not good, and he can’t play a lick of defense. He lead the league this year with 34 errors, 7 more than the next guy. I liked watching Zimmermann in 2009, and his FIP numbers are good, but I think we would need several other useful pieces for it to even be considered.

Zimmerman: definitely a good piece. Has battled injuries, but shows promise.
Desmond: Looks like he may be a 25 year old Yuni, with a little speed. I guess he is only 25, but no thank you.
