They are trying to trade Blanco so Dyson looks like he’s in!

Dysons had an above average ST but is he really Major league ready?

Funny how experience is a buzz word in one slot & not in another

I think Blanco has been treated quite shabily,lets hope Pena isnt treated the same!

Maybe Kendall’s setback is more serious than they’re letting on and Treanor was brought in to take his place as opposed to Pena’s place. Probably doubtful, but possible?

I hope KC does not give Pena the Kila treatment. Why not find out if he has any future at catcher? Treanor and Kendall are at the end of their rope, and should be once a week guys (only one of them). I understand the need to help the young pitchers, but come on. . . This was on cbs.sportsline fantasy about Tampa Bay: ” Kyle Farnsworth and Joel Peralta are the front-runners for save opportunities at the beginning of the season.” What in the world are the Rays thinking?

According to the ESPN.com article, it stated the Royals got Treanor for his experience. You know what this means – when Kendall comes back, the Royals catchers will be Kendall and Treanor, because you can never have too much experience behind the plate. So much for evaulating what they have at catcher this year.

Ben – I’m with Royal Man on this one,cant see for the life of me why we needed to get another catcher right now,especially one who hit in the low .200′s last season!

As they have done so now theres nothing we can do about it,i’m also agree with fb….. who stated that we traded Scott Podsednik for a “bag of baseballs” some time ago,May might profile as a major league catcher but having seen him many times with the Isotopes & now with the Royals i dont see anything better than what we have in Kendal & Pena right now & Pina/Perez in the future!

As i have stated in the past Cody Clark is a great #3 catcher & there is as much upside to him as there is to May,so yes sorry but put Lucas through waivers by all means!

All 4 of those players definitely need to have seasons such as what you outlined in order for the club to be competitive in 2012. While I am optimistic about all of the Royals young prospects, I’m not going to assume any of them will have a Jason Heyward/Buster Posey/ Evan Longoria type rookie season.

But wouldn’t it be fun to see those kinda seasons from Gordon and Kila. Something would be so satisfying seeing those two hit for power.

And any thoughts on Escobar’s spring power? Obviously ST stats are wack, but if he has some added power in the regular season then I think his return value from the Greinke trade is exponentially higher.

Get rid of May? Why? For Matt Treanor? Jason Kendall? This guy profiles as a ML back up catcher and I don’t see nay reason not to let him play. You can find trash like Matt Treanor any day. The Royals paid cash for him. That should tell you what he is worth.

So not even giving “the boys in the truck” a plug whilst in full interview mode or that the “everyday” catcher goes on the DL to start the season gives you a full chance to have the job safely in your hands to show us what you can do?

An unnecessary three way tie days before the start of the season to put you in anxiety thats how the Royals play it!

We must get rid of May & quickly
