I don't know why you didn't mention Mitch Maier's phenomenal career pitching stats. He's got a 1.0 WHIP, he's never walked a batter in two seasons, and he's shown a remarkable consistency. Baseball Reference projects him to have a 0.00 ERA in 68 appearances. At that rate he could be our #1 starter, and wash away all the pain of this wasted season.

How much trouble do you think Hudler got not for celebrating player brawls, retaliatory pitches and general mayhem? It was good comedy hearing him talk about how the umps used to let players “police themselves”.

Also, after one of the HRs allowed against Cleveland he simply said, “that’s not good”. And he was right.

This comment section is what we used to call a “bridge” when I was playing in the big leagues. We called it a “bridge” because if you would stand on it long enough, trolls from down below would fling poo at you and ruin your day.
