Ya the first inning Hosmer reached it was because of an error so was not counted as a hit

X, that still counts as a single even though Hosmer got thrown out at 2nd. That was his 2nd hit of the night.

Hosmer had his 3rd hit in the books in the 9th, but was called out at 2nd because the ump was out of position. Bang-bang play, but replay to me looked like he was safe stretching a single into a double.

There’s a spot on the 40 man when they move Duffy to 60 day DL. A lot of dead weight on the 40 man too. But, you’re right some decisions would have to be made to bring them up.

Could DM flip Montgomery for Alexi Ogando? He could come out of the Rangers bullpen and be in the middle of our rotation tomorrow.

Some of it will depend on the health and status of the rotation. Odorizzi would need to be placed on the 40 man, I think, in order to be called up. Myers, too. So, someone has to go or be cut in order to bring them up.

It’s possible we’ll see them, but I think Odorizzi is more likely. Perhaps in August. Either one will have to play VERY well at AAA to get the call.

I can’t believe nobody has commented on the Myers/Odorizzi promotions. I was listening to Joel Goldberg last night and said that nobody makes the jump from AA to the Big Leagues in DM regime! So I guess this is the next step…could we see both of them in the Majors later this summer?

Texas has not been swept at home in 22 months Thats almost 2 Years!! And our KC Royals broke the streak. I have a feeling we will be seeing alot of interesting things this year, including a remix of the 2003 season “Believe”. It could really be “Our Time” after all. If we are in the hunt at the ASB, then maybe we will be recognized on a National level and more players will not put KC on their “No-Trade” list. If we can take care of business with the other league leading team (Orioles), then we should start getting the respect we deserve.
