We will have five pitchers who can at least get to the 6th inning without completely imploding. Nice to have that stability for the first time in years.

Not sure what value GMDM could get for any of them.

I agree with the thought that Yost should just rotate guys to/from Omaha, bringing in a hot hand when somebody gets a bit overworked.

My gut reaction to the starting rotation is that they will be better this year as a group – they might well get that extra out per game. All good.

The question then becomes what can Dayton get for some of the blocked pitchers – I’d move a few guys in the first half of the season. Guys like Mendoza/SOS/Maz/Adock don’t really have a path to a spot on the ML roster.
