Just wondering what the logic is with Moose already here and Cuthbert close enough to be ready when he’s FA eligible. Slugging corner OF’s would seem to be a bigger need. If the org is looking to provide depth somewhere, maybe he should pitch a game or two instead. I’d guess Myers and Odorizzi are in Omaha sometime shortly after Memorial Day.

I know it the smallest of sample sizes but did anyone else think he looked awfully comfortable out there for that one innings against the White Sox?

I’m comforted by the fact that when we were in Oakland earlier in the season there broadcasters pointed out that of all there former farm prospects which included at the time Cahill,Milone & McCarthey etc Mazzarro was the pitcher most likely to succeed & was ahead of the field.

Obviously dont know why he has regressed & he’s had plenty of chances but still the depth of trouble we are in as far as starters go it wont hurt to give another chance & you never know we might strike lucky?

How about that for a positive Friday hangover?
