"This site seems to be down on Falu for some reason"

I'm not!

"I'm not nearly as sure as the rest of you that he is the man at 2B"

Two bobbles last night & an embarressing collision with Frenchy in a critical ninth, its not what the Royals need!

Heatwave here in Northern Ireland & we are not used to it very hard to watch the Royals on a computer when theres so much sun outside,i must be insane but at least the two wins in Baltimore is some reward.

I believe you have a big weekend over there yourselves.....Thank goodness for the early start i can enjoy the Sun all day tomorrow!!!:-)

Any chance the Brewers would take Yuni back for a bag of seeds? They need help at SS, and Falu is clearly a better utility guy. This site seems to be down on Falu for some reason.

I wish Royals would give Gio all the ABs for the next few weeks. I am not nearly as sure as the rest of you that he is the man at 2B, but the only way to put this issue to bed is to let the lad play.

Hosmer needs to go down to Omaha. Bring CRob up to DH, and let Butler play 1B.

I just stopped watching the Royals versus the Orioles. Unwatchable. Hosmer and Gordon are pathetic offensively. No changes. No improvement. Pitching is the same.

Anyone have any thoughts about trading Butler to the Cardinals (Berkman pooped out) for a haul of players? Seems like a match made in heaven for the Royals to get perpetually screwed via the Curse of '85.

I've seen Moose make a few plays that Escobar was in position to make as well. So I wonder if Escobar's reduced UZR is a result of Moustakas' improved range (he ranks first in range factor among all AL third basemen)? Some of the plays Escobar would have made when Betemit was to his right, are now made by Moose instead. Same number of outs, same defensive production, but the result lower individual UZR for Escobar.

Does that seem reasonable? I admit to not knowing exactly how UZR is calculated.

Wow...I am a strong Aviles supporter, wish the Royals gave him more of a chance at second, and think he got a pretty raw deal. I think he plays SS solid also, but he not close to the defense that Escobar plays. And I agree with Adam that Escobar gets to a lot more difficult balls than Aviles and yeah that occasionally gets Esky an error when he is trying to make a great play. Aviles would not have gotten to those balls and it would have been ruled a single not an error, either way you have a man at first. But Escobar makes more of those difficult plays than he doesn't, so there are less guys standing at first due to Escobar errors, than there would be with Aviles giving up singles.
